Lung Expectorant Blend Organic Herbal Glycerite Tincture
This blend contains a mix of expectorant and tissue soothing herbs to assist with lung congestion, blended with sweet vegetable glycerine for palletable taste. Expectorants are used to lubricate the airways, which helps to loosen up mucus and make the secretions thinner. By loosening up the mucus, expectorants make your cough more productive. Having a looser, more productive cough will make it easier and less painful to cough up nasty gunk in the lungs!
Directions: Shake well before use. Consume 1 dropper 1 to 2 times a day. Use tincture within 2 years of opening.
Mullein leaves have a soothing, hydrating effect on the lungs and contain saponins that loosen mucus. Mullein is often used for chronic lung problems such as asthma and COPD, but is also helpful with colds and coughs.
