Ingredients: sheep sorrel, turkey rhubarb, burdock root, dandelion leaf & root, cleavers, cat’s claw, soursop, vegetable glycerine, distilled water.
Directions: Consume ½ to 1 full dropper up to 3x a day as tolerated. Overuse or starting out with too high of a dose may cause digestive upset. You can mix this with water, tea, or juice. Shake well before use.
Warnings: Do not use if pregnant, breastfeeding or have a history of kidney stones.
Sheep sorrel contains anthraquinones and oxalates. Anthraquinones including emodin, Rhein, and physcion stimulate peristalsis (gut movement) and increase secretion of mucus and water into the intestines. They are also considered to be antioxidants and free radical scavengers! They have a tendency to cause discoloration in urine, so don’t let that spook you! Oxalic acid is a contributing factor to the anti-tumor and anti-cancer aspects of the herb.
Turkey rhubarb root has been used in herbal tea as a cancer treatment, primarily for prostate and breast cancers, for many years. Turkey rhubarb is also a strong liver cleanser. The acidic constituents include gallic, malic, oxalis and tannic acids, which do the heavy lifting for this herb.
